Privacy policy

In short: this site sets no cookies, uses no tracking and loads nothing from other servers. The dashboard demo runs only in your browser. We process personal data only as far as needed to deliver the site, and when you email us.

1. Controller

2. Hosting and server logs

teamgeist.work is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). On every visit Cloudflare processes the technical data needed to deliver the site and to protect it from attacks: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the referrer, and browser and operating system details. Cloudflare keeps technical logs for a few days.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is a secure and reliable website. Cloudflare processes the data as our processor under a contract according to Art. 28 GDPR.

3. Contact by email

If you email us at hallo@teamgeist.work, we process your email address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message in order to reply. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our interest in answering requests) or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request concerns a contract.

Mail to teamgeist.work is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing and stored in our inboxes, one of which is hosted by Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). We delete the correspondence once your request has been dealt with and no statutory retention period applies. You do not have to give us any data; without an email we just cannot reply.

4. The demo dashboard

The dashboard at teamgeist.work/demo is a demo with sample data. What you click or type there, such as a mood, a vote, a note or kudos, stays in your browser tab. It is not sent to us or anyone else and not stored; reloading the page brings back the sample data.

5. Cookies, tracking and fonts

We set no cookies, store nothing in your browser and use no analytics or advertising services. The fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading the page sends no data to Google or other providers.

The home page links to the sources of its figures (Gallup, Google, McKinsey, WHO). Only if you follow such a link does your browser contact that site, which then processes your data under its own privacy policy.

6. Transfers to third countries

Cloudflare and Google may also process data in the USA. Both are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so an adequacy decision of the European Commission applies (Art. 45 GDPR); in addition, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). Just write to hallo@teamgeist.work.

Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
